We believe in being a force for good - an example for others - it's that simple. See below for details on our current service project!

Project
Every year we coordinate a quilt drive for families in Alaska. Last year 333 quilts were donated to our Alaska Quilt Drive by member of the quilting community throughout the country. These quilts went to individuals and families throughout the state that are in financial difficulties. This year we have teamed up with a non-profit called RuralCAP that will be distributing the quilts to 21 different sites throughout the state many of which are remote villages. They will go to individuals, families and children in need.

Specifications
This is a very open quilt drive. All sizes and materials will be accepted and appreciated!

Color, pattern, and style are completely up to you. The only thing we ask is that the quilts be finished (no quilt top only / unquilted).

Reason
Alaska is one of our favorite places! We spend time in Alaska each year. During our time there we became aware that Alaska has a significant homeless population. Winter temperatures in Alaska vary from 0°F to -30°F from November to March.
.
Deadline
All quilts must be in the mail no later than August 15th, 2024. This will ensure that they are able to be taken to Alaska.
