Description: 50 wt SCANFIL Organic Cotton is made of Extra Long Staple Organic Pima cotton fiber grown without use of chemicals and pesticides. Dyed and coated with non-toxic solutions, mercerized, very low in lint, smooth and strong thread that will not shrink or bleed with washing. Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified. Biodegradable wooden cone is wound with 5000 yards, works well with thread stand for home sewing machine. Use for sewing garments, quilt piecing and binding, appliqué, heirloom sewing, construction seams, bobbin fill, and overlock stitching. Great for all experience levels. Earth friendly.
