Dress A Girl Around The World

Sew Yeah is collecting dresses for Dress a Girl Around the World. All dresses made will go to girls in need; some in third-world countries; some in the U.S. Instructions and free pattern are below.

Dresses must meet the following criteria

Durability

-Durable material (if you can see your hand behind it then it's too light/ sheer)

All seams must be finished

-Backstitch seams

-No buttons or zippers

-No raw edges

-2 pockets on front of dress (see images below)

Safety

-All dresses must have the D.A.G.A.T.W. labels sewn on the front of them (this may help to deter predators by showing that the girl is in contact with someone who is watching out for her). Labels may be purchased directly from the Dresses for Girls website. You can also request them during one of Sew Yeah’s Live Shows and we will include them in your order.
